First off, I want to extend a big congratulations to Rob Kane for his victory in the 32nd District special election onTuesday, January 15th. Rob is a great guy, and I know he’ll do a great job in Hartford. I was fortunate enough to be at his campaign headquarters when he declared victory, and the place was electric with energy. Way to go, Senator Kane!
It was a great week for the Cappiello campaign. In addition to my Sunday appearance on WFSB’s Face the State, I was happy to participate in a “liveblog” discussion Thursday night on CTLocalPolitics.net. This is the first time I’ve ever participated in a liveblog, and it was a great experience. Participants were able to ask mequestions about the upcoming campaign and the issues facing Connecticut and America in an open forum, and we had a great conversation. I look forward to doing another soon, and a big thanks to the folks at CTLocalPolitics.net for putting it together! Also, I was proud to announce the endorsement of the Sherman Republican Town Committee this week, including the support of RTC Chair andSelectman George Linkletter, and Selectman Ed Hayes. I’m really grateful for their support, and look forward to working with them as we roll on toward victory in November. See you on the trail! ![]()
