"David is a strong and effective advocate for fiscal restraint and individual initiative,” said Selectman and RTC Chairman GeorgeLinkletter. “He has worked tirelessly in Hartford to stem growth in government spending and to reduce taxes and red tape to spur job and economic growth. He is exactly the kind of representative we need in Washington,D.C. right now." “We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have David representing the Town of Sherman in the State Senate,” said Selectman Ed Hayes. “He’s never let us down, and he’ll bring the same record of common-sense, results oriented leadership he’s known for in Hartford to Congress. David Cappiello is the change we need in Washington.” Cappiello thanked Sherman’s RTC members for their support. “I’m grateful that George, Ed, and the Sherman Republican Town Committee have decided to endorsemy candidacy,” said Cappiello. “With their help and the help of others, we’ll talk about the issues that matter most to the Fifth District and work to spread my positive vision for a better Connecticut and a better America. I’m happy to have them on my team.” ### |
