Campaign's Momentum Translates Into Fundraising Success
Danbury— Cappiello for Congress today announced it has raised over $1 MILLION to date in the campaign to represent Connecticut’s Fifth Congressional District. Having crossed a major milestone, Senator Cappiello issued the following statement hailing the momentum the campaign has built:
“With the help of supporters from across the Fifth District, our campaign to fix Washington and get Congress working for our families again has been able to raise over $1 MILLION dollars,” said Senator Cappiello. “Crossing this major milestone well ahead of our June 30th filing deadline is a true testament to the momentum we’ve been able to build heading into the summer. In the face of record energy costs, reckless spending, and a long line of broken promises from this Congress, voters are crying out for action. Our message is resonating, and the support we’ve been able to build is proof that the voters want a Congressman that will fight for the results they need, not more partisan rhetoric.”
